Locating leaks

I knew that there is a leak somewhere - I have to pump the boat once in 24h. Not a major problem but the boat must be dry eventually.

To localise the leak I close all sections in bilge, dry it and then wait to see where the water comes from.

Additional item on my To-do list - renovate the bilge and fix broken frames!

Unfortunately, water comes from under the engine. No access there.

That will be a “biggie“ to fix, requiring engine removal - possibly with cockpit floor following.
Another item on the list, to be fixed after the season.

Rain has its place.

Not really a problem when you are a kid but why does it rain here mostly on weekends???

Good weather for weekend sailing. We sail only on genua, in half wind.

No stress, family sailing.

In her new harbour

After sailing from Rosättra, Meritaten is now at her new summer harbour in Norrtälje.

Walking distance from my home - I’m on the boat almost every evening, after work.

Nice to have a summer place like that.

I thought I would need to install some nets on deck - to prevent her from falling abord while sailing...
Nope!
She does not give a damn, as long as she can sleep on my clothes
