Olympia SG3 - Lego-colors typewriter

This is not about building SG3 from Lego.
This is just to show how beautiful these machines are under their rather dull, in my opinion, body shells.

The machine I have is an earlier model where mechanism is encapsulated in aluminum castings, cheerfully painted with lively, Lego-like colors. Later machines have these substituted with pressed steel sheets profiles. Not as fancy and with many other cost-saving modifications.

After cleaning and waxing it is a joy to look at. Enjoy!

I am playing with thought of making transparent shell for this machine, to keep the mechanism visible. It feels sad to put it back to this dull and gray body.
